About Me

Hi, I'm Eric Huie and welcome to my website! I am a Backend Focused Web Developer who loves to build and manage the backbone of web applications that drives user interaction with the platform and empowers businesses. I have experience with many of today's relevant modern web technologies, including React and Flask, as well as languages like JavaScript, Python, and SQL. My goal is to contribute my skills and knowledge to create user-friendly and seamless software products while continuing to learn and develop my skills as a developer.

A rental property viewing site based off of Airbnb. Users log into an account to be able to create a rental property with images and descriptions for other users to view. The frontend was created using React and the backend was created using Flask with the ORM SQLAlchemy for the database.

Jobly

A job search board prototype loosely based off of popular sites such as Indeed and Glassdoor. The frontend was created using React and the backend was created using Express.

Warbler

A social media blog posting app. Users log into an account to be able to create blog posts and follow other users on the platform and their blog posts. Created using Flask, SQLAlchemy, and Bootstrap.
